Enterprise Website Account Manager

As Eli Lilly strives to achieve its purpose of making life better for patients, we areadvancing our in-house Digital Engagement Team (DE3), to enhance our customer interactions, improve compliance and modularize our content while replicating best practices and learnings around the globe. As a result, Lilly has invested in a center of excellence dedicated to improving and advancing core capabilities around website creation and integration. The Enterprise Website team works closely with the US and IBU affiliate brandteams to define, build, execute, and measure website performance.


The Account Manager will lead cross-functional website portfolio projects with US or IBU brand teams, Tech@Lilly, omnichannel, operations, compliance, medical, legal, regulatory, and other cross functional partners to ensure execution against defined project plans. They are expected to be a proactive problem solver and to develop and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with colleagues. 


As part of the LCCI team, we are excited to offer the role of anEnterprise WebsiteAccount Manager who will be an integral part of the Digital Engagement Team in 2024 and beyond.


Key Objectives/Deliverables:


  • Manage site update and maintenancerequirements for existing sites, as well as ensure launch readiness to support upcoming and ongoing launches and line extensions,


  • Understand and communicate the website standards and guidelines to enable cross-functional teams to deliver a purposeful, relevant, and intuitive website experience based on unique customer needs,


  • Ensure frequent, continuous, and effective communications with team members and stakeholders to set expectations and negotiate priorities appropriately,


  • Define, oversee, and maintain a master timeline for all websites in motionutilizing project management software,


  • Track and communicate the progress of initiatives to internal stakeholders and external agency partners,


  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of websites according to EWI standards,


  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the business,


  • Provide feedback to help improve the EWI operating model, streamline work across the affiliate, and enable compliance and efficiency,


  • Partner with marketing teams and internal capabilities teams across affiliates to understand brand strategy anddeliver the best experience for our customers,


  • Consolidate and deliver feedback between internal partners while looking for operational efficiencies to streamline work.


  • On-point for managing timelines and capacity, coordinating with team members across multiple time zones (content developers, editors, marketing project owners, marketers),



  • Communicate project and program status,


  • Anticipate and resolve project/program issues, escalating as appropriate,


  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong business relationships,


  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment,




Basic Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, project management, and/or Account Management


  • Competence with standard IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)



Education Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent degree)



Additional Skills/Preferences


  • Ability to speak, read and/or write multiple languages.


  • Knowledge of digital development lifecycle principles and best practices.


  • Understanding ofadvertising agency structures and processes.


  • Understand the complexity of website tactics.


  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.


  • Product launch experience with a pharmaceutical brand.


  • Seeks out and acts on feedback; strong self-awareness and demonstrated EQ.


  • Ability and willingness to challenge business partners to improve our work,


  • Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, judgment and managing complexity,



  • Strong work ethic, personal motivation, and team player who is dynamic and result oriented,


  • Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, fluent (verbal and written) in English,


  • Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment, with ability to work across time zones.


  • Strong organizational skills.
