Droom is seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations (PR) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR strategies and tactics, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling. As a PR Specialist at Droom, you will be responsible for developing and executing PR campaigns that enhance our brand image, increase brand awareness, and drive positive media coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the external and internal communication
- Should have a very strong network of journalists
- Drive communication plans for the brand as well as the founder
- Responsible for taking care of brand and reputation management.
- Managing the founder's social media handles
- Maintaining media relations and drive interviews, podcasts, opinion pieces for the founder
- Planning publicity strategies and campaigns.
- Writing and producing presentations, articles, press releases and social media posts.
- Designing or project managing the production of visual communications and digital content.
- Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations.
- Organizing and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, webinars, and visits.
- Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations.
- Providing clients/colleagues with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns' progress.
- Analyzing media coverage.
- Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research and data analysis.
- Pitch stories, press releases, and other media materials to relevant media contacts.
- Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and other PR events.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on PR performance.
- Manage crisis communications and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor PR activities, and relevant news topics.
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership and speaking engagements for Droom executives and spokespersons.
- Assist in the development of PR materials, including press releases, media kits, and backgrounders.
