Job Title: Brand Manager
The mandate for this role is to support the team lead in creating and executing the brand & marketing solutions by interacting with internal, business, and external stakeholders to drive the projects to completion.
Position Summary
The Role-Holder Description: The jobholder must be well versed with building brands and marketing solutions for B2B businesses.
- Ability to understand the dynamics of B2B business and the appreciate the role value chain partners that goes beyond the customer and build solutions considering the value-chain partners.
- Well versed with the branding and marketing fundamental concepts and framework.
- Strong track-record of working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to focus and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
Challenges:
- Being part of the central team, the projects will be with diverse businesses, and hence the ability to understand, adapt and execute branding solutions is needed across different businesses.
- Driving projects through cross-functional teams by influencing stakeholders across functions, business & external agencies to deliver objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Appreciation:
- Understand the Operating Plan and Market Context of the Business
- Understand the Industry Sector/Category
- Identify key competitive forces, category insights, triggers/barriers, etc. in the sector to support team lead in developing solutions
Project Leadership
- Drive Brand & Marketing Solutions for Business
- Build activity chart, roadmap, and timeline for delivery basis the key milestones defined.
- Take ownership of the project and manage processes to ensure every task is followed as per the planned timeline.
- Continuously liaise with the project cross-functional team, the external agencies & influence stakeholders for timely delivery in full of the project
- Ensure governance practices are followed and escalate issues/roadblocks at the right moment to ensure smooth delivery of the project and periodic alignment of all stakeholders to the project progress
Collaboration:
- Liaise with the relevant agency and business team to deliver solutions.
- Partner with businesses in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding diverse types of agencies as required to drive the project
- Liaise with the project cross-functional team and external agencies to ensure everyone is aligned and support the business in driving & evaluating agency output.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Brand Management, Marketing or in Product Management.
- Ideally around 10-12 years of experience
- Strong understanding of domestic and global market trends
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for to work for a brand from Scratch.
