What will a week look like in this role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Credit Operations Manager to lead our dynamic team of Credit Operations Analysts. The Credit Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of Credit Operations, including underwriting, loan processing, and portfolio management. This position requires a strong leader with good managerial skills, industry knowledge, and a passion for driving operational excellence. As part of the key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Credit Operations team, including Credit Operations Analysts, to ensure efficient and effective processing of loan applications and portfolio management. Develop and implement credit underwriting policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
2. Oversee the review and analysis of customer loan applications, credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documentation to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risk.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Risk Management, and Collections, to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
4. Monitor loan portfolio performance, delinquencies, and credit quality indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
5. Provide leadership and guidance to Credit Operations Analysts, including training, mentoring, and performance management, to foster professional growth and development.
6. Act as a key point of contact for lender partners, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders regarding Credit Operations and compliance matters. Implement quality control measures and performance metrics to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
7. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
You’ll excel if you possess:
- Proficiency in technology tools and platforms used in Credit Operations, including LMS (loan management systems), CRM (Customer relationship management) software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Service: Customer-centric approach with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan lifecycle, including addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Credit Operations Manager
