The Opportunity:
The Consultant will be responsible for implementing an Enterprise Content Management solution using the Appworks platform, assisting customers with installations and configurations of the solution. The Consultant should understand customer requirements and advises customers on solution options and work closely with Appworks architects. They will be responsible for bringing their expertise to the customer situation during the development of the software. Will also apply business skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze data. Should be keen on enhancing the knowledge of the latest versions of Appworks features. Should be keen to learn on other Appworks-connected OT products.
You are great at:
- Should be able to develop software of average technical complexity independently (or with minimal help).
- Responsible for timely delivery as agreed within the project without compromising on product quality
- Able to provide bottom-up estimates for the assigned parts of work
- Interacts well with peers and communicates in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written on his/her work
- Actively participate and contribute to the analysis, design, planning, processes, etc., Raise issues where needed and create sensitivity towards timely resolution of problems.
- Adopt agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices.
What it takes:
- Bachelor or advanced degree preferably related to Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Should have very good problem-solving, analytical and coding skills
- 5 to 8 years’ experience with OpenText AppWorks /Process Suite, is mandatory.
- Good to have knowledge of Appwork's latest versions i.e., version 16+.
- Knowledge of either Entity Modeling or Angular+ is desirable.
- Knowledge of OTDS, Content Server and other OpenText products is a plus.
- Proficiency with XML, SOA, Object Orientation, SQL databases, and network architecture.
- Should have design knowledge, should be able to work independently
- Proficiency with programming in Java, JavaScript, and Basic Web development.
- Very good knowledge of SOAP, REST web services and related technologies.
- Very good knowledge of Single Sign-on associated mechanisms and standards.
- General knowledge of web servers, browsers, and other internet applications.
- Customer-facing experience is mandatory, one should able to understand requirements and come up with estimates
