The team provides a wide array of services to Canadian, U.S and Indian professionals, and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.

The Core Talent Services - Canada Talent Services team provides support to all Deloitte Canada Partners and practitioners across all functions and regions. The Talent Services teams have extensive experience in managing all Talent Services priorities supporting the business strategy of their respective member firm.

Description:

Deloitte Employee Lify Cycle Events team has an exciting opportunity to join our group of professionals in a high impact team in a fast-paced environment. The Talent Services Representative supports the administration of Talent (Human Resources) activities for employees. In this role, you will partner with the broader Talent team to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

The key job responsibilities include the following:

US India Compliance Services

Understand the firm, its functions, compliances, initiatives, and most importantly the talent services needs.

  • Lead team members to drive quality and SLAs on all deliverables.
  • Partner closely different groups within TS as well as non-Talent teams (Payroll, Technology, external vendors, ITS etc.) to resolve/initiate any compliance related issues/processes.
  • Oversee compliance process for US & USI geography.
  • Collaborate with US & USI team to understand talent priorities and help in prioritization and implementation of projects.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes and increase productivity.
  • Implement and enforce high standards for quality deliverables.
  • Ability to step in and assist the team in resolving escalations
  • Oversee internal quality audits, ensure process compliance, redesign process workflows as appropriate
  • Lead automation projects within the process.
  • Team management- coaching & mentoring the team for collective development.

The key skills required are as follows:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Graduates with prior experience in Talent or related business processes.
  • Experience using an HRIS (ServiceNow) preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements
  • Ability to effectively work with other people and be collaborative, cross-functional and diplomatic, while adapting to a changing environment and conditions.
  • Ability to examine, evaluate, report, and recommend improvements on the adequacy and effectiveness of process/systems developed.
  • Strong Analytical and interpersonal traits including confidence, responsiveness, flexibility and initiative.
  • Problem-solving skills and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using an HRIS (PeopleSoft) preferred.
  • Personal integrity when handling confidential information essential.
  • Flexibility to altered hours of work to accommodate supporting people across time zones.
  • MBA / HR Diploma an asset.
