Deloitte’s Marketing Excellence team is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join as a Social Media Administrator. This role will be part of the Brand Strategy team reporting into Channel Strategy and Governance. The ideal candidate will manage the processes our Social Media content publishers use across all the existing and emerging social platforms. This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A deep understanding of Social Media tools and trends will be valuable for the ability to develop processes and methods for the usage of all Deloitte US Social Media handles.

The team

Deloitte’s Marketing Excellence team is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join as a Social Media Administrator. This role will be part of the Brand Strategy team reporting into Channel Strategy and Governance. The ideal candidate will manage the processes our Social Media content publishers use across all the existing and emerging social platforms. This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A deep understanding of Social Media tools and trends will be valuable for the ability to develop processes and methods for the usage of all Deloitte US Social Media handles.

Work you’ll do:

If you have a passion for Social Media Marketing, technical integration, data, and organization, we want to put your skills to use in an effort to safeguard the Deloitte brand and reputation. The Social Media Administrator will be responsible for assessing in-the-moment situations that may require immediate action. This role will also proactively anticipate future-focused needs for the management of our handles. The Social Media Administrator will collaborate closely with Deloitte’s Global counterparts to manage and maintain the access, controls, standards and security of our owned social handles.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the growth of the organization by proactively mitigating areas of potential risk to the Deloitte brand. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase this work through the education and promotion of requirements for a stable social channels.

  • Activate the various projects related to Social Media management, governance, and maintenance
  • Cross-collaborate with necessary teams to build controls into our evolving Social Media practices
  • Work closely with the Global team to share knowledge of best practices and processes that may be applied across all of the Global firms
  • Understand the current landscape of all US-owned and Globally-shared Social Media handles
  • Collaborate with the Global team to ensure US handles adhere to standard guidelines
  • Stand up user group access for all US channels, and maintain security through regular reviews
  • Implement approval processes for access management
  • Provide recommendations to solve for redundancy, security, and brand adherence
  • Contribute to the documentation of Social Media best practices and processes
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a detailed directory of all social handles and user permissions
  • Regularly manage and conduct monthly reviews of accounts maintained in our Sprinklr and Proofpoint platforms
  • Frequently assess social platforms to identify rogue or unverified Deloitte-branded handles
  • Conduct reviews containing recommendations for further efforts for governance
  • Establish the process for social moderation and monitoring to ensure coverage and redundancy
  • Contribute to a social listening collective
  • Regularly review Social Media profiles for alignment with brand guidelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Social Media content publishers and owners to foster understanding around the importance of adherence to best practices
  • Assess ways to best analyze Social Media platform and handle performance
  • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators, trends, and insights and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

Skills and Abilities:

  • 8-10 years of experience, including extensive knowledge of marketing technology implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.), algorithms, and best practices for business
  • Proficiency in understanding data sets, connection points, and data hygiene and normalization
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure and interpret performance metrics
  • Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Ability to think through all the details in an end-to-end process
  • Experience in detailed with documentation
  • Strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple projects at one time
  • Collaborative and proactive with a "can-do" mentality
  • Confident in working with Microsoft Office suite of products, predominantly Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity of Agile methodology, Workfront, Sprinklr and/or Proofpoint are a bonus
  • Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm (B to B experience a plus)

Education:

  • MBA / master’s degree would be an added advantage
