- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and user needs within the travel domain
- Conduct comprehensive requirement-gathering sessions to capture and document detailed business requirements
- User Story Writing: Craft clear and detailed user stories, ensuring they align with business goals and are understandable to both technical and non-technical team members
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria
- System Analysis: Analyze existing systems, processes, and data flows within the travel domain to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Propose and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and meet business objectives
- Jira and Confluence Management: Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage project workflows, document user stories, and facilitate collaboration among team members
- Maintain and update project documentation in Confluence, ensuring it reflects the latest requirements and project status
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding
- Quality Assurance Support: Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on documented requirements
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of implemented solutions
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in the travel domain
- Travel Domain Knowledge: Should have experience in working with any of the GDS viz. Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, Apollo, etc
- Should be able to understand and drive PNRs in GDS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Must have travel domain experience
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the travel domain
- Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with user story writing and acceptance criteria definition
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
