Role description
Main Purpose of the Job
- To meet the long & short-term sales objectives for FAMD by understanding the existing and future needs of the customers.
- Products: Ferro Chrome, Chrome Ore etc
- New products: Stainless steel and other products may be added in future
Key Accountabilities
- Safety- Compliance to Safety norms
- Meeting revenue / sales targets –
o Facilitate contract finalization with customers with respect to volume in line with ABP/OSP
o To ensure order generation and fulfilment in line with customers' schedules
o To engage with sales planning / CSD to execute the contracts as per customers’ schedules
o Relationship management with direct customers
o managing distributor(s) in the territory
o Development of new customers
- Achieve Working Capital targets –
o Manage inventory by ensuring inventory is as per sales requirements
o Ensure movement of non-moving inventory within timelines
o Ensure outstanding is within company guidelines through payment realization and implementation of suitable financing.
- New Product Sales
o Identify opportunities for New Product Development
o Obtain trial orders for product approval
- Improve customer satisfaction and customer Loyalty
o Ensure operational excellence in the parameters of Quality, Cost, Delivery and Development, accounts and other statutory matters
o Provide timely feedback to relevant agencies in the organization.
- Provide inputs to marketing team on competitors' moves –
o New product development
o Price position
o Share of business
o Investment plans
- Provide inputs for Formulation of ABP and 5-year Plan with regards to volume price forecast, share of business, new product development and anticipated SOB for their respective accounts.
Skills
Technical Competencies:
Ability to handle Techno-Commercial Function. Product and market segment knowledge, knowledge of sales processes, Analytical Skill, Software Skills (SAP and MS Office)
