Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the renewal of software services and support subscription contracts in assigned regions; this includes providing quotes to the assigned Distributors
- Responsible for upselling to customers, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and technology refresh
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport, providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
- Outbound calls to existing customers for the purpose of selling services and support renewal contracts, upselling & cross-selling
- Manage End-user, Reseller & and distributor expectations and 24-hour response time on enquiry (SLA)
- Handles customer and partner inquiries related to quotes, pricing, co-terming, up-selling, and reinstatement of software services and support subscription contracts
- Positively interacts and collaborates with Customers, Partners, and Distributors
- Identifies and pursues subscription contracts reinstatement opportunities
- Assists in the negotiation of software services and support subscription agreements
- Work closely with Distributors, Account Managers, and Sales Engineers to ensure sales closure
- Responsible for providing adequate training to partners on the Renewals Tool and responsible for managing inquiries on renewals
- Track and measure daily sales goals via the Salesforce database
- Maintain CRM Hygiene on Pipeline updates, Account Information, and Customer information
Qualifications
- Experience in selling software services and support subscription renewal is highly desired
- Experience in sales or sales engineer roles in IT industry is desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and comfortable to call or meet customers
- Ability to articulate the product’s different features, and answer any questions customers might have
- Strong negotiation and closing sales skills
- Strong attention to details
- Self-motivated, upbeat, organized, and highly persistent in follow-ups
- Fluent in Hindi and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly desired
- Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
