Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). Your typical day will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth functioning of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Oracle PLSQL. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures. - Participate in the design, development, and testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database, Unix/Linux, and Shell Scripting. - Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL queries. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical support. - This position is based at our Pune office.minimum 15 years of education
