Our Finance Shared Services (FSS), located in Bengaluru, India is looking to strengthen its teams in preparation of an imminent Global finance transformation with exciting new positions being created in multiple functions.

The Finance, Accounting and Procurement functions are co-located, and work with colleagues and partners around the world. Purpose of the role

The key purpose of the role is to set-up new customers by doing financial and integrity checks, maintain the accuracy of the customers data that are active.

This new position is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to make a positive impact on a dynamic business. 

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain accuracy of customer information in the accounts receivables system, including addresses, contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, Vat & Company registration numbers.
• Conduct periodic audits of the customer address book to identify and rectify any discrepancies or outdated information.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to gather updated customer details and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new customers by accurately inputting their information into the system and verifying the data provided.
• Ensure effective communication with internal teams regarding any changes or updates to customer information that may impact invoicing or order processing.
• Address and resolve any issues related to customer addresses or contact information that may arise during invoicing or communication processes.

Professional & Technical skills

• Computer literate, Microsoft Office i.e., Outlook, Excel and Word
• To have excellent English language skills in both written and verbal form
• Must be able to communicate with internal offshore colleagues in a professional manner.
• Must have a keen eye for details,
• The ability to work collaboratively, building strong relationships with and with business to ensure joined-up delivery.
• Must have the ability to prioritise workload to achieve daily tasks and meet deadlines.
• Must be organised and able to be flexible.
• A desire to own tasks and the resilience to work through issues to conclusion, maintaining energy and motivation.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• B.COM / MBA – Finance
• 2-4 years’ experience in Order to Cash (Accounts Receivable) roles preferably Shared services environment.
