Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards, including partnering with Testing and Application teams for unit testing and to support subsequent releases.


  • Serve as a skilled client Application Packager using tools like Flexera Admin Studio and Configuration Manager (SCCM) Participating in streamlining the overall packaging process for the IT-Development Engineering – Packaging team


  • Assisting with the deciphering of the application requirements for each package


  • Reaching out to vendors to discuss any challenges as it pertains to client application packaging.


  • Discuss and overcome challenges by working with all teams within the application lifecycle.


  • Based on complexity, determining future SLAs for packaging requests


  • Attending and/or hosting calls that involve the packaging or repackaging of applications


  • If essential, the ability to work on emergency packaging requests which may require efforts outside of normal business hours


Qualifications & Experience


  • 7-10 years experience in enterprise desktop as an Application Packager


  • Must have a strong understanding of and deep experience in packaging applications


  • Strong understanding of and experience with Microsoft operating systems


  • Knowledge and deep understanding of SCCM, Altiris, and/or other enterprise software distribution/management systems


  • Strong understanding and experience with scripting, including PowerShell and VB


  • Preferred certifications, not required: MCSE


  • Experience with Active Directory and GPOs/GPPs


  • Strong scripting and application packaging skills


  • Law firm or professional services experience preferred


  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


  • Strong customer service skills


  • Strong leadership skills


  • Strong project management skills
