We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Operation to oversee and optimize all aspects of our Exhibition Operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and an excellent communicator with a proven track record of success in the exhibition or events industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for all operational activities related to exhibitions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Oversee all aspects of Exhibition Operations, including planning, logistics, venue management, vendor relationships, and budgeting.
Venue Management: Oversee venue selection, negotiation, and management processes, ensuring optimal utilization of space and resources.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics and supply chain management activities, including transportation, equipment rental, and on-site services, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving issues as needed.
Budget Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for exhibitions, tracking expenses, analyzing variances, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards, implementing measures to minimize risks and ensure the well-being of participants and staff.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of Exhibition Operations meet or exceed quality standards, customer expectations, and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and other stakeholders to maximize participation and engagement in our events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven 7+ years of experience in handling 360 operations for an exhibition firm.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the exhibition and events industry.
