Job Description:
Position Summary: Will be a member of Windchill implementation team. Will focus on leading a team and developing Windchill customization/data migration tools needed to implement Windchill systems. Will develop applications in Java technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
Work with and lead Windchill implementation team to analyse Windchill development/automation requirements.
Develops and review codes in Windchill solutions and is accountable for good quality of deliverables based on the guidelines.
Should know all windchill modules like PDMLink, Projectlink, MPMLink, PartsLink, SUMA, SIM.
Should know windchill client side and server-side configurations and customizations.
Should be thorough with business and system administration.
Develop applications ranging from macro script programs, developing plugins, migration tools development, and performance optimizations within Windchill environment.
Code review and maintenance in configuration management tools like SVN.
Provide user support, troubleshooting and maintenance for tools developed.
Follow existing processes and IT industry best practices for code development, source code management, incident management and change control Ensuring best practices are followed.
Create and maintain design/testing documentation for all solutions developed / implemented.
Should know the setup between Windchill and Thingworx.
Mandatory:
Overall industry experience of 6 yrs to 8 yrs. in consulting in PTC Windchill Solution.
5+ years of experience in Windchill development using APIs, Info Engine, task manager and MVC components.
4+ programming experience in Core Java, JDBC, JSP, JSQuery, Javascripting, Servlets, Web services, Struts, JAXB and XML.
4+ years of experience in using Oracle or MS SQL database.
DESIRABLE:
Knowledge of engineering processes and terms.
