Vmware Virtualization Administration-Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. Must have skills : Vmware Virtualization Administration Good to have skills : No Technology Specialization Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification :minimum 15 years of full-time education Key Reponsibilities :1: Server Management standard activities 2: OS Administration 3: Patch Management, perform OS updates 4: Anti-virus Management 5: Implement/maintain system security best 6: Practices / Maintain runbooks as well as 7: Provide architecture, environment, and process documentation 8: Coordination with vendors for h/w issues Technical Experience : 1: 3-4 years of experience in Administration and management of Windows servers 2: Administration and management of virtualization infrastructure on VSphere environment 3: Administration and management of ESXi host 4: Patch management of Windows servers 5: Coordination with security team for closure of security issues and vulnerability management 6: Troubleshooting issues related to Windows and VSphere environment 7: Commissioning and decommissioning ESXi and Windows hosts 8 Professional Attributes : 1: Good communication 2: Teamwork 3: Problem Solving Capabilities 4: Work Planning and Management 5: Quick Learner 6: Eager to take on responsible task 7: Dedicated and Focused
