Responsibilities:
- Define and drive technical vision and strategy for mobile robot perception systems.
- Stay updated on advancements in computer vision, sensor technologies, and machine learning.
- Design and develop perception algorithms for mobile robots (e.g., object detection, localization).
- Develop software for real-time processing of sensor data (cameras, LIDAR).
- Collaborate with software/hardware teams to integrate perception algorithms into robotic systems.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate and enhance perception system performance.
- Stay updated on latest research in perception and robotics, applying new techniques.
Requirements:
- Exposure to software development for autonomous mobile robots.
- Proficiency in control systems, sensors, actuators.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, ROS2.
- Familiarity with computer vision, machine learning, sensor fusion.
- Experience in real-time processing of sensor data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks.
