Amazon’s Books org is looking for a dynamic and talented Team Lead for managing Quality Services (DA) testing teams.
Core Responsibilities:
Would manage Quality Service Associates (QSAs), Sr Associates, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and will report to the Manager, Quality Services. A Team Lead should have the ability to mentor/coach QSAs/SMEs and ensure test case execution process is managed well. He/She will be the point of contact for the QSAs, SMEs and QAEs for clarification queries/project execution/work allocation. A Team Lead will also be required to look at optimizations in the processes followed and bring about improvement in quality / productivity. In addition to managing process improvements and work allocation, will also manage daily floor operations, create reports, review operator / QSAs performance on regular intervals and ensure productivity & quality deliverables are met. A Team Lead will also be responsible for performance management of all the QSAs reporting in to him/her.

- A graduate in any field of study. Quantitative fields such as science and engineering preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and use of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc. are required.
- Flexibility and Interest to do repetitive tasks.
- High level of energy, proactive nature and a willingness to accept the challenges.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Judgment and instincts and able to prioritize in complex fast-paced environment.
- Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators
- Project management skills.
- Leadership experience in coaching and performance management
- Six Sigma Green Belt certified
