Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the backend development team.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define and implement the technical roadmap for backend applications.
- Java/Spring Boot Development:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend applications using Java's Spring Boot framework and also, managing the database.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontEnd Developers, QA engineers, and Operation manager product managers and coordinators, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the backend development team.
- System Architecture:
- Contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance the functionality and efficiency of backend applications.
- Code Reviews and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
- Implement and maintain robust testing strategies to guarantee the reliability of backend systems.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for backend applications.
- Ensure knowledge transfer within the team and promote a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Previous experience in a leadership or lead developer role.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
