Sr. Manager-Finance

Responsibility


  • Liasoning effectively with all the stakeholders (MDs/ Partners/Directors/Leads) across the geography and be a go-to person for client service-related matters.
  • Building long term client relationships through exceptional client service including a deep understanding of internal and end-clients and their needs, exceptional responsiveness, and delivery of highest quality service and work product.
  • Executing, reviewing and/or guiding associates/ leads under supervision on business and/or valuation engagement of diverse nature and purposes of valuation along with maintaining compliances and regulations.
  • Assisting management team in growing the practice and taking active part in recruitment process including screening of CVs, conducting Interviews, Liasoning with Human Resource team and working towards finalization in coordination with top management.
  • Building deep mutual understanding and regularly sharing key takeaways/ minutes of meetings and maintaining strong relationship within various teams working on the assignments.
  • Knowledge of various financial rules and laws such as Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS etc, companies ACT, 2013, IBC 2016 and income Tax Act, 1961.
  • Multi-sector exposure in steel, power, mining and minerals, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paper, textiles, logistics, cement, fertilizer, petrochemicals, EPC, real estate.
  • Knowledge of financial assets valuation, ESOP valuation, share valuation, enterprise valuation, M&A valuation & purchase price allocation.
  • Knowledge and ability to analyse Financial Statements, perform ratio analysis and interpretation of the same.
  • Knowledge and experience in financial valuation & financial modeling.
  • Ability to perform valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory.
  • Designing financial models using discounted cash flow.
  • Performing in-depth industry, market and competitor research.
  • Assist the team lead to conduct valuations, and also carry out valuation assignments independently.
  • Knowledge of key data sources such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Moneycontrol.
  • Assist the senior in framing of proposals for prospective assignments.
  • Encouraging, motivating and overall development, grooming of the team under supervision.
  • Providing on-the job technical trainings and guiding associates and senior associates in their day-to-day work request within objective to become a go-to person for them.
  • Assist/conduct technical interviews for candidates being hired down the hierarchy.
  • Coordinate with accounts department for Invoice follow-ups with the clients on respective assignments.
  • To identify potential client who may require our services.
  • Independently visit client office to attend meetings including a deep understanding of the internal and end-client needs with exceptional responsiveness, and delivery of the highest quality service and work product.
  • Network within the industry to establish new client contact and qualify leads using industry news and publications and also maintain existing client relationships.
  • Addressing to all the clients or auditors’ queries regarding the valuation of the subject asset
  • Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, including personal and telephone interviews.
  • Analysis, reconciliation and summarization of data using various software applications such as MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word.
  • Presenting the results of analysis in a final report in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintain personal contact and develop long lasting relationships with customers in order to maximize revenues and cross selling opportunities for the company.
  • Respond to referrals (internal and external) in a timely, professional manner.
