EY- Global Delivery Services (GDS) – TAX – People Advisory Services (PAS) – Workforce Advisory (WFA) – Instructional Designer – Senior

The opportunity

We are looking for professionals with expertise in instructional design to join the WFA team.


Your key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to identify training needs and create training curricula for system implementation projects (experience in SAP S/4 HANA Learning projects is desirable)
  • Utilize ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and other recognized models to design and develop engaging course content and learning activities
  • Determine instructional goals and create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, assessments, etc.)
  • Develop assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training programs
  • Deliver high quality and timely training materials
  • Communicate and collaborate to build strong relationships with project stakeholders including
  • team members
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions and make recommendations for enhancements
  • Support the development of collaterals, tools, techniques, and methodologies to develop the practice
  • Contribute to pursuits to develop persuasive and compelling training-related content for proposals, including the development approach and instructional strategy
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to training developers or team members to help them develop their skills


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in training development for system implementation projects
  • Experience in creating storyboards and following visual design principles and branding guidelines
  • Proficiency in instructional design principles and tools
  • Strong writing (command over English), MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Practical knowledge and experience in instructional design principles
  • Proficiency with course authoring and learning tools, such as Articulate Storyline, captivate, SAP Enable Now, Camtasia, Vyond, VideoScribe, Synthesia
  • Experience developing a wide range of digital learning deliverables, such as web-based learning, v/ILTs, videos, nano-learning, job aids, application simulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with project team members and stakeholders
  • Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Ability to review learning deliverables developed by others
  • Experience in assessment development
  • Experience in proposal development by providing insights into training needs, strategies, and estimations for system implementation projects
  • Critical thinking, situational reasoning, and practical solutioning skills, especially under tight deadlines


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A background in content design
  • Experience working with any media design tools
  • Knowledge of at least one Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions for varied audience profiles
