Address We are seeking an India-based Solution Architect to join our growing Pre-sales Solution Engineering team in the US/EMEA. You will be responsible for building and maintaining standard verticalized demos, as well as building custom demos and executing technical Proof of Concepts for prospects. You will work with the Solution Consultants, Solution Architects, and Account Executives to gather requirements and build the relevant demo or PoC for a prospect. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing custom solutions for executing customer use cases or improving the Solution Engineering team's productivity.
Responsibilities
Be the go-to person to help build custom or verticalized demos for prospects
Translate customer use cases into effective demos
Strategize with the Solution Engineering team to create customized solutions
Work closely with the Solution Consultants, Solution Architects, and Account Executives in the U.S to gather requirements, design, and build the relevant demo(s) and PoCs for a prospect
Work with Product Management to ensure new features are added to the demos, and present the features back to the rest of the Solution Engineering team
Background and Skills
Strong knowledge and experience in SQL, and have worked with data-oriented solutions in the recent past (DW, BI, ETL, Hadoop, etc)
A strong understanding of Web development, have a firm grip over technologies such as JavaScript, node.js, HTML, CSS
Good knowledge of, and working experience in Python
Some level of understanding or experience in AI/ML in Python or SQL
High level of communication skills (Speaking / writing) in English
We Would Be Thrilled If You Had
Experience in Digdag, Fluentd, Hivemall or Embulk
Hands-on experience with frontend JS libraries like jQuery and React
Experience working with APIs
