About Team & Product/Project Details:
Data Architect position for CIO Platform Services Team in the Global Delivery Organization to build, optimize, maintain logical data solutions.
Data Architect to take complete ownership and accountability of implementing Data migration models, Build Data Modeling, Data Security, Data Governance, Identify new Data system requirements and Monitoring across organization. Provide strong leadership and mentoring to the team members.
What you will be doing :
- Manage end-to-end Data Architecture, from selection of the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application, testing and deploying solution
- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating platform operations, applications, and implement data strategy that is in line with business processes
- The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations (GDPR, PII, PCI etc)
- Define and manage the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization
- Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security
- Conduct a continuous Audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders/Management
- Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to cloud based solutions
- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
- Educate team members through training and individual support
What you Bring:
- 18 - 24+ Years of Overall IT Experience including 10+ years of Experience in Data Architect and Cloud Migrations, Data Solution design and Architecture
- Good conceptual and implementation experience in Legacy and Modern Data Platforms viz.. EDW, Data Lake
- Good working knowledge on Azure suite including ADF, Databricks
- Good knowledge and implementation experience in Data Management including Data Governance, Data Security (PII Data), Data quality management.
- Implementation experience of modernizing data platforms, data migration and initiatives around Data As a Service including API integration
- Working knowledge on Data Modeling
- Should be able to design and architect the cloud data solutions including the technology selection,
- Should have good hands on experience in tools and technologies and should be able create and demonstrate POCs
- Data Leader with a strong focus and though leadership on Market research on technology and Data & Analytics Product roadmap
- Experience in Analytic tools like Power BI, Qlick
