Position : Dy. Manager/ Manager - Indirect Taxation
Location : Head Office - Mumbai (5 Days working)
Key Accountability and Responsibility:
- To oversee and manage the indirect tax mainly Goods and Service Tax obligations of organization and must have an overview of Custom Duty and other old indirect taxes like VAT, Sales Tax Excise Duty, Service Tax etc.
- To ensure compliance with applicable indirect tax laws and regulations and responsible for timely and accurate preparation, filing, and submission of indirect tax returns, reports, and declarations to the tax authorities.
- To develop tax planning strategies to optimize indirect tax liabilities and to stay updated on changes in indirect tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization's tax position.
- To provide advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders on how to structure transactions and operations in a tax-efficient manner.
- To maintain proper documentation and records related to indirect tax matters which includes keeping track of invoices, purchase orders, sales records, and other relevant documents to support tax filings and audits wherever required.
- To assist in tax audits or assessments conducted by tax authorities and to provide necessary documentation, respond to queries from tax auditors, and to help resolve any disputes or issues arising during the audit process.
Specification:
- CA with 3 Years of relevant post qualification experience.
- Must have good skillset of working on SAP system-FICO and a fair view of other modules of SAP like MM Module & SD Module.
- Preferably from Infrastructure / Real Estate Organization.
