Job Description:
As a Field Sales Executive specializing in building materials, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within the designated territory. Leveraging your industry knowledge and sales expertise, you will play a key role in promoting our products, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular visits to construction sites, contractors, architects, builders, and distributors to promote our range of building materials and generate sales leads.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team, marketing department, and product managers to develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing initiatives.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders, showcasing the features, benefits, and applications of our building materials.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, quotations, and contracts, negotiating terms and conditions to secure profitable deals.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze market trends, and generate reports to track progress towards sales targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements related to building materials, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness, network with potential clients, and stay informed about market trends and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field (Preferred).
- Proven track record of success in field sales, with a minimum of 1 years of experience in selling building materials or related products/services.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
