Job description

If you are looking for an opportunity in Senior Officer Payables - Finance, Emerson has this exciting role for you! The candidate will be coordinating with GFS Manila, Tax consultants, SCM,  ensure healthiness of payables and tax accounts. 


In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


1. Doing vendor reconciliations on periodic basis 


2. Liaising with tax consultants for getting required forms and approval before processing imports payment  3.Overviewing Manila team bill booking for materials. 


4. Providing inputs to Manila team for booking of non-PO based invoices  


5. Working on monthly provisions/ accrual for invoices not booked in system. 


6. Supporting GST and TDS tax requirements 


7.Supporting statutory audit with respect to statutory payments and Accounts Payable.  


8. Liaising with stores/ supply chain/ operations team for closure of issues  


9. Liaising with Bankers for payments and closure of outstanding foreign liabilities.    


Who You Are:


You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain relationship with suppliers, banker and internal procurement team. 


For This Role, You Will Need:


B.com with demonstrated ability in collection and credit control.


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:


  • Accounting focused with strong knowledge of IGAAP & US GAAP
  • Operational and forward-thinking attitude
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical with well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • Industries / Companies to be targeted Manufacturing.
