About you and this role

As an experienced software engineer, you will be responsible for working with a scrum team through design, development, and implementation of workable digital solutions that meet business and functional stakeholder requirements, while exploring and prototyping the latest technologies. You will be a proponent and practitioner of Dow's Agile Scrum methodology and strategy. In this role, you’ll be developing complex applications, while acting as a team member, to streamline business operations and improve overall user experience. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong desire to increase efficiencies and make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team. Your ability to creatively collaborate and execute team goals will affect scalability and directly contribute to the Dow’s mission.

The role will be part of the Scale and Fulfill Digital Development Team (DDT) and will primarily support Integrated Supply Chain process solutions including Order, Ship, Planning, and Finance. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scrum teams to produce software design led by architect.
• Work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders to analyze and break down requirements into small, simple, workable deliverables. Closely work with customers about technical issues and scenarios, understand business context and translate into technical language.
• Develop scalable solutions using tools like Angular, C#, Dotnet, MS SQL Server, Power App and other open stack frameworks.
• Design, implement, and deliver to production complete end-to-end fully functional solutions.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Master's degree is desirable
• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Angular & .Net (C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript)
• Knowledge of Information technology work process, methodologies, and tools. (including Agile and Scrum)

Preferred Skills

• Experience or knowledge on Azure Cloud Platform
• Basic knowledge and experience in Agile software development methodologies and work processes, especially Scrum.
• Good understanding with Code and Frameworks from recent developments: C#, .Net Core, Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS.
• Notable experience with database programming using Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
• Knowledge of coding design pattern

• No relocation support is provided for this role
• The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential
