Know more about us: Brief about the Team Private Label team is a center of excellence within the Category Management vertical of Tata 1mg. The team works closely with the org-wide leadership team, business, product, growth, and category teams to identify & execute opportunities to launch private label products under Tata 1mg brand name. The team works to identify private label product opportunities & develops in-depth understanding of products to be launched. The team work with vendor partners for developing high quality products & owns the complete life-cycle of product from conceptualizing to owning sales across channels. The projects span across business verticals including e-pharma, institutional business, e-diagnostics and retail. What will you do 1. Business strategy
- Be a lead for the Tata 1mg private label portfolio, acting as complete owner for overall growth of assigned sales channel
- Analyse new opportunities for channel expansion. . Define strategic growth plan along with end-to-end management of the same work with cross-functional teams to drive the means to growth
- Go deep into understanding what customer wants, what will sell well on platform depending demand, and work out end-to-end sales plan
- Along with revenue management team, manage the setup of effective pricing through promotions and offers, ensuring focus on unit economics
- Be growth focused, looking to expand into new segments and taking complete ownership to drive it
- Clarity of thought and communication for rationale for product launch & analyzing sales trends
- Drive initiatives in terms of supply chain efficiencies for better commercials
- Work with planning and procurement teams to ensure in-stock targets.
- 2+ years of relevant experience (new product development, category management, sales, strategy etc.). Experience in a fast-paced environment or startup is a plus
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills . Strong bias for action and creating impact
- Experience in working in cross functional teams to execute high impact projects
