Development of integration deliverables such as ICDs, test scripts. and contribute from a functional perspective.
Review of key subcontractor deliverables such as designs, test specifications and other technical/functional documents
Possess Airport industry knowledge and application(s) expertise to the project
Ensure overall alignment of integrated IT environment with the business/operational goals of client
Assist with project risk management.
Management of assigned subcontractor systems / packages including regular progress reviews, risks and issues reporting to concerned parties.
Regular reporting of subcontractor deliverable progress status
Provide inputs for monthly management reports
Participate in periodic review meetings with client and their contractors/subcontractors
Assist in Testing & Commissioning, ORAT and other activities as relevant
Implement corrective and preventive actions on non-compliance issues
You will be successful in this role if you have:
7 years project experience implementing or integrating with Airport Baggage Systems (BHS, BRS, MDS, SBD, FBLB, etc.), in international airports.
Experienced in a minimum of one full cycle implementation including system & interface design, development, testing, commissioning of Baggage systems in an international airport
Experienced with integration of Airport Baggage systems using an Information Broker or an ESB
Knowledge of typical Airport Baggage Management systems used in Airport BHS Command & control center.
Able to demonstrate solid understanding of Airport Baggage processes in international and typical use of IT applications and their integrations
Good understanding of Systems Integration context for Airport IT systems.
Experienced with adhering to quality processes, checklists and quality standards in an airport context
Ability to work in complex client facing projects with strict timelines, cos, associated risks.
Ability to build good working relationships with many stakeholders to make the project successful.
Ability to maintain the project pace in stressful environments
Assist in risk & change management skills
Excellent communication skills
Good understanding of configuration and document management
Good understanding of testing cycles such as Factory Test, Integration Test, Acceptance Test etc
Should demonstrate an Innovative approach in problem solving situations, self-confidence and team work
