Job Summary
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong foundation in SQL and Tableau,
complemented by desirable skills in Python and data modeling. The ideal candidate should excel in analytical thinking, and storytelling, and possess a profound understanding of data analytics. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract insights, influence business decisions, and enhance our analytical capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced SQL skills to query and analyze large datasets, extracting meaningful insights to support decision-making
- Employ analytical thinking to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Apply data modeling knowledge to design and optimize database structures that align with business requirements
- Leverage Python programming skills for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks
- Contribute to the development and implementation of analytical solutions, working together with the technical team
- Develop and deliver compelling data-driven stories to communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, ensuring alignment with analytical goals
- Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive analytical solutions
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Analyst with a focus on SQL and Tableau
- Experience with Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio to develop effective data models
- Good experience in scripting and querying languages such as Python, SQL and others
- Understanding of Descriptive Statistics and proficiency in hypothesis testing and interpreting results
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail, self-managed, strong data and problem solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
