We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofSenior Associate - Advisory Specialist

Principal responsibilities

• Member of the EMEA Advisory team (ex. UK), candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the Aladdin platform and Advisory business activities, also encompassing Product Management responsibilities within Global Advisory.

• Perform daily preventive controls to detect data issues (information not updated or incorrect, missing, or wrong proxies, stale information) in the BlackRock Aladdin platform (IT platform used to assess clients’ portfolio risk), contact relevant stakeholders to fix them, follow-up on remediation.

• Contribute to the definition of change requests related to Aladdin and Avaloq and to the management of incidents.

• Participate and contribute to projects related to IWS Advisory activities.

• Request the creation of securities to Blackrock when securities don't exist in the Avaloq Security Master File, proceed with data mapping (Holistic portfolio service - consolidation of accounts)

• Review proxy framework for non-modelled securities with the support of the Advisory team.

• Preparation of output report materials. Liaise with the relevant team in charge of the output tool (ART).

• Ability to be act as subject matter expert on Advisory and Product Management related topics and tap on the extended Advisory ecosystem for additional feedback and inputs.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of financial services industry and financial product, basic understanding of quantitative aspects (Volatility, expected shortfall, statistics modelling)
• Degree in finance/business and with other professional accreditations such as CFA or FRM is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Financial services industry (preferable Private Banking & Wealth Management) or previous role involving Quantitative analysis
• Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint; working knowledge of programming languages like Python and SQL is preferred
• Excellent analysis, synthesis, and documentation skills
• Quantitatively inclined with a keen eye for details
• Strong communication skills
• Strong teamwork capabilities
• Effective with stakeholder management and able to work with teams across locations
• Ability to work under pressure and to manage multi-tasking efficiently
