You’ll gain a global perspective and an awareness of tax issues stemming from changes to evolving business structures and geographic expansions.Our International Tax Services Generalist - Practice Support team advises PwC Client Services team advises clients on tax laws and reporting, legislation and planning strategies based on the geography and jurisdiction. You’ll be assisting our team with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international taxation needs.

Job Description The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of an Assistant
- To handle litigation assignment under the guidance of the seniors
- Reading the appeal papers and deciding the papers required for preparation
- Review of DRP applications, CIT appeals, hearing synopsis, APA applications
- Reading the orders and relevant documents, APA applications, submissions
- Preparing the strategy for litigating the case
- Briefing the issues involved in the appeal to the senior
- Assistance in preparing factual paper book and strategy for hearing after
- To assist the seniors in briefing the Partner / briefing certain small matters
- Independently conducting research on technical topics / clients to develop the
- Analysing various court rulings on transfer pricing and identifying their
- Identifying bottlenecks / potential tax exposures / risks
- Maintaining strong control on facts and figures for all the cases working upon
- Working on developing and maintaining client relationships
- Developing strong working relationships with colleagues across locations
- Accompanying seniors for the tax hearings
- Ability to represent cases before all level of tax authorities (including APA
- Proactiveness to prepare for hearings well in advance
- Soft skill to maintain good relation with tax authorities and also willingness to
- Overseeing the work of Associate, Analysts and Senior Analysts
- Preparation of strategic slide decks for APA proposal and overall APA

Profile
Requirements
- To be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-5 year of relevant experience

- Thorough technical knowledge of Direct Tax, International Tax and Transfer
- Keen interest in litigation and alternate dispute resolution area
- Well versed with various Rules and Procedures regarding filing of appeals,
- Good Excel, presentation and report writing skills

- Efficiency in MS office and report writing skills
