Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and disciplined individual to join our team as the Head of Security at the Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a background in the military, preferably ex-Army, with extensive knowledge and expertise in security operations.
Responsibilities:
1.Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols and procedures to safeguard guests, employees, and assets of the hotel
2. Lead and manage a team of security personnel, ensuring proper training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
3. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
4. Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services to ensure effective response and assistance in case of emergencies.
5. Monitor surveillance systems, access control systems, and alarm systems to maintain a secure environment.
6. Investigate security incidents, accidents, and breaches, and provide timely reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
7. Liaise with hotel management and other departments to ensure security measures align with operational needs and guest satisfaction.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to security management, and implement necessary changes to enhance security standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in security management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Proven track record of implementing effective security measures and protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Military background, preferably ex-Army, with a thorough understanding of military principles and tactics.
- Proficiency in security systems, surveillance technologies, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
