- Ensure accurate reporting of activities, update the commercial database, and provide business forecasts to the Sales Head.
- Expand the customer network within the designated geographical area.
- Communicate with distributors regarding new projects and opportunities.
- Negotiate direct contracts/sales.
- Gather necessary information for the establishment of new projects/contracts.
- Ensure tender publication aligns with our specifications.
- Propose commercial conditions in line with customer requirements.
- Negotiate contracts/tender submissions and follow up on payments.
- Reporting.
- Conduct monthly review meetings with the Sales Manager.
- Participate in quarterly joint review meetings with the Director of Reliability.
- Demonstrated expertise in business development or sales within a B2B setting.
- Preference for experience in Condition Monitoring & Laser Alignment Systems solutions.
- Technical proficiency in Vibration is advantageous.
- Proven track record of initiating cold calls/visits to drive new business prospects.
- Capability to establish enduring, robust customer relationships.
- Solid comprehension of engineering or scientific instruments.
- Experience in the sales of technical products and services.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software.
- Track record of successfully closing enterprise-level deals.
- Aptitude for analyzing business opportunities and navigating diverse situations effectively.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Familiarity with tender procedures and sales techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, with preference given to those experienced in condition monitoring sales.
- Self-motivated individual with a knack for self-learning and proficiency in using various instruments and software.
Proficient in spoken and written English, with fluency in spoken Marathi and Hindi. - Demonstrated energy, drive, and strong teamwork abilities, fostering positive relationships across all stakeholder levels.
