Vice President Strategy (Head of Strategy)

Job Summary:
The Group Vice President, Business Strategy, will play a pivotal role in shaping and steering the strategic direction of Reward360. This executive position is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across the company. The role demands a visionary leader who can identify emerging market opportunities, develop business models, lead GTM for new products and lead strategic partnerships that enhance the company's competitive edge and market presence. This role reports to Group Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with the company's vision, mission, and long-term goals. Drive strategic planning processes, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and identification of growth opportunities.

- Innovation Management: Champion innovation across the company by identifying new market trends, technologies, and business models that can enhance our offerings and customer experiences.


- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships and alliances that can enhance the company's value proposition and market reach. Negotiate and manage complex partnership agreements.
- Financial Acumen: Oversee the financial modelling and analysis for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals. Develop and monitor key financial metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other executive team members and departments (e.g. Product Development, Sales) to ensure strategic initiatives are integrated and executed effectively across the organization.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of strategy professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability within the team and across the company.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the organization's reputation and assets.
- Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitors and market trends to identify threats and opportunities, informing strategic decisions for a competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Working experience with Big4 consulting firm is desired
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in business strategy, consulting, or a similar strategic leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies in a technology-driven or loyalty program industry.
- Exceptional analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and lead teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Deep understanding of global market trends, customer behaviour, and digital transformation in the loyalty and engagement industry.
