As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient purchase of materials and services. This is a full-time position with a mid-level experience requirement of 4 to 6 years.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the Manufacturing Industry
- Strong knowledge of production planning and purchasing processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to foster and maintain positive vendor relationships
- Proven track record in developing and implementing purchasing strategies
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in oral and written communication
- Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is highly desirable
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine purchasing needs and specifications
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives
- Review and analyze purchasing data to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in purchasing and supply chain management
