We are seeking an experienced Public Relations (PR) Manager with a strong background in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the BFSI domain and a proven track record of building and maintaining excellent relationships with journalists and media outlets. As a PR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR initiatives to enhance the company's reputation, drive brand awareness, and ensure effective communication with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industry, staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
Translate complex financial and industry topics into compelling and accessible narratives for media consumption
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media influencers within the BFSI sector.
- Proactively engage with key media contacts to secure positive coverage, manage interviews, and facilitate media partnerships.
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring consistent messaging across various channels.
- Create press releases, media kits, and other communication materials showcasing the company's achievements, innovations, and thought leadership.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
Develop and maintain crisis communication plans, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond effectively to any unforeseen challenges.
Act as a spokesperson during crises and manage communication to minimize reputational damage.
Oversee the planning and execution of PR events, conferences, and product launches
Identify speaking opportunities for key executives at relevant industry events.
Provide regular reports on PR activities, coverage, and impact on brand perception.
Requirements
- Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with BFSI journalists and media outlets.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and at various organizational levels.
Familiarity with digital PR tools and social media platforms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
