Manager/Senior Manager - Project Management - Diversity Hiring
Role & responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include conducting on-site assessments, ensuring adherence to design specifications, and providing technical expertise to resolve construction challenges.
- Review implementation of engineering plans, monitor construction progress, and address any deviations from project requirements. Focus on quality and safety standards.
- Explore under construction projects cost savings, benchmarking projects and best practices.
- Review design specifications and regulatory standards (HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire suppression systems, elevators, escalators, etc.)
- Review proper design, installation, and functioning of above elements.
- Oversee the electrical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and safety regulations.
- Review electrical challenges, conduct site inspections, and provide technical guidance for the installation of electrical systems.
- Review successful integration of electrical components within the construction framework.
- QHSE aspects of electrical systems
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Construction)
- Master's in Business Administration from NICMAR (Finance, Strategy, Operations, and General Management).
- Experience of working in a senior position of any leading consulting firms in the region with focus on Capital Projects Advisory, including dispute resolution.
- Candidate with Minimum 5+ years of industry related / relevant consulting experience with in-depth understanding of the Capital Projects domain. Key areas of expertise expected include Project Management, cost estimation, quantity surveying, budgeting and accounting.
- Understanding of project controls, QA/QC, contract administration, procurement and construction / project risk management.
- Exposure to diverse industries including Real Estate, Contracting, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and industrial projects.
- Must have strong local/regional community network and be an active member of trade and professional associations.
