AddressThe Product Manager (PM) is expected to
- Participate in inbound product management functions from product feature inception to delivery
- Work with product Engineering, Design, QA, and Doc teams on various product features, Communicate product issues to the product owners, QA and engineering teams
- Be a true expert in multiple product area(s), act as a product leader within the team
- Build product demos and public examples. Develop reusable product extensions or demo samples (e.g. using Python, JavaScript or Java)
- Channel demo materials and public examples with field and with public audience
- Define and create videos of product demonstration for public posting, create blog entries for product features
- Work with other PMs and Management, Sales, Partners and Customers in identifying demo needs
Requirements
- Technical skills - Must have at least two:
- Foundational knowledge of AI technologies
- Hands on experience on Machine Learning technologies
- Python, Java, JavaScript/XML/HTML, Web services
- Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, Apex
- Linux, Shell Scripting
- Functional skills that enable in analyzing, modeling and interpreting data to derive valuable insights
- Product management experience in building Analytic products – Highly desired
- Technical background with prior experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics – Highly Desired
- Hands on work experience in Oracle Analytics/OBIEE, Tableau, MS PowerBI, Qlik
- Programming background with experience in building custom application – Highly Desired.
- Flexibility to work on different timezones on a need basis
- Willingness for need based, occasional travel on customer engagement
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of software engineering or related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in producing enterprise product demos, technical blogs and learning videos is desired
- Excellent teamwork skills, Proven ability to influence cross-functional, cross cultural teams
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Work as part of an international team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
