Job Description
As a member of the Value-Added Services division within the Issuing Solutions Product organization, this role will be responsible for the ongoing product development and expansion of the Visa Campaign Solutions (VCS) product which powers personalized cardholder communications, marketing campaigns and reward programs for both Visa and our card issuer clients globally. This role involves spearheading the development of new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring the overall functionality of the product.
Key activities include:
- Working with product team to build and manage our roadmap and backlog
- Writing and business requirements
- Grooming business requirements, answering questions and finding solutions around challenges with the development teams
- Validation and user acceptance testing of new functionality
- Helping manage the agile development process, facilitate meetings and address obstacles
- Act as subject matter expert / liaison between US product and Bangalore development teams
Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Translate product strategy into actionable product development efforts for VCS products.
- Process Improvement: Establish, document, and refine development and operational processes for the product.
- Product Engagements: Work closely with project management and operations to ensure product development tasks are completed on agreed deadlines.
- Operational Activities: Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure the systems are operating as expected, resolving issues, and coordinating activities.
- Product Requirements: Provide guidance from market demands to assist in the development of detailed product requirements, specifications, and enhancements.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or minimum 3 years with an Advanced Degree.
2. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
4. Knowledge of payments, card issuing and lifecycle marketing best practices.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Project and client management skills.
7. High level of comfort with data, files, and technical communication.
8. Collaborative working style.
9. Experience in Agile development
Preferred Qualifications:
1. 3 to 5 years payments, card issuing or B2C or B2B2C marketing operations experience.
2. Ability to synthesize complex ideas and passion for developing clear, effective, and compelling presentations.
3. Excellent data and analytical skills, working knowledge of Excel and MicroStrategy or Tableau is preferred.
4. Working knowledge of marketing automation technology.
5. Motivated to understand the evolving industry context and Visa.
6. Ability to work independently, and with broad instructions.
7. Adaptable to different work and projects.
8. Strong business acumen and a global mindset.
