Product Lead

Responsibilities of Product Lead :

• Being a part of product design, development, and integration testing
• Capture and model requirements preferably using the use case
• Task allocation to the team members describing solutions
• Estimation of hours on the task and sometimes in consultation with developers
• Preparing or guiding developers on crafting unit test cases
• Lead a team of 6-10 developers / Sr. developers
• Code review and coordination with the QA team
• Maintenance of Source code & further versions
• Meticulously work with Sales & Support Team for associated improvements, enhancements & fixes
• Write robust code and carry out unit tests by self partially/on-demand
• Reporting on resource utilizations
• Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and programming languages to enhance productivity

Requirements of Product Lead :

• University degree in B.E. /B. Tech. /MCA/M.Sc. in Computer science
• Strong knowledge of requirement analysis and software design
• Experience in PHP programming
• Creditable knowledge of MVC architecture
• Expertise in at least one MVC framework, preferably Yii 1/2 framework
• Proficiency in RDBMS and MySQL
• Confident with complex SQL queries, both writing, and understanding
• Good experience with REST API, XML, and JSON
• Well with HTML, HTML5, CSS3
• Knowledge about version release
• Strong knowledge of Ajax, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Efficient communications skills
• Headstrong in leading a team to develop and deliver a quality product within a scheduled timeframe
• Competence to handle time-critical scenarios remaining under pressure
• Ability to handle issue tracking and version management
• Acquaintance with JavaScript frameworks e.g. Angular JS / React JS
