The Team:


Our Digital Technology Services (DTS) Project Management team works with a wide range of technologies and uses their expertise to resolve divergent issues. We support a global company, eagerly supporting new projects in order to resolve critical, work-stopping issues and implements innovative solutions to support these integration and transformation initiatives and BAU work. We provide project leadership and support, expertise and mentorship for each of these initiatives.


To enable comprehensive DTS cost reporting, portfolio management, including alignment to vendor, technology, finance and procurement, location or environment, and business service. To lead team supporting day-to-day financial tasks for DTS, and partner with DTS-aligned resources in FP&A to manage DTS financial performance and leads critical programs/group of portfolios aligned PM.

You will work with a talented team of Infrastructure Engineers, System Administrators, Security Analysts, Application Teams and other Project Managers to ensure the company’s products are supported by a strong infrastructure. This team is committed to mitigating risk while handling tasks, resources, and changes. You will build positive relationships with your internal partners through providing regular project updates. You will lead large projects/programs that provide the company with a secure and reliable IT infrastructure.


Primary role is to partnership with Divisional Leaders & PM service, Partnership alignment vendor, support C&I Cost reporting, Technology and Environment. To lead team supporting day-to-day functional & financial tasks for C&I, and partner with C&I -aligned resources in FP&A to manage C&I financial performance.

  • Build on your experience with managing multiple projects while handling team expectations, interacting with technical resources and delivering Senior Leadership expectations

Responsibilities:


  • Engage with divisional and DTS senior leadership and key stakeholders, Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Audit and Risk. Manage Vendor relationship and delivery, Reporting & Tracking projects in Serena and driving Governance forums
  • Manage / oversee multiple project teams. Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding conflicts, issues and decisions on services.
  • Implement strategic procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Guidance and framework for data alignment required to enable comprehensive financial reporting
  • Cloud FinOps guidance for DTS and overall cloud consumption (as appropriate – varying by division)
  • Ensure DTS-sourced financial reporting meets the needs of stakeholders (Finance, tech owners, divisional partners)
  • Benchmark or other analysis of financial efficiency
  • Portfolio hygiene, Process adherence to Serena/PRB, help and guide portfolio Owner with Quarterly Prioritization Process
  • Alignment to Procurement Process for each Program and Project under the Portfolio
  • Uncover and alert areas of financial opportunity
  • Assist in achievement of non-HC synergies
  • Information source for Finance, DTS tech owners, DTS leadership
  • Manage Program delivery, relationships and escalations with internal / external stake holders
  • Operate independently, frequently interact with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, involving matters between functional areas
  • Deliverables:
    • View of combined spend by major technology tower within 3 months of deal closure
    • Transition financial management of non-DTS cloud to Finance / Divisional finance as appropriate within 6 months of deal closure
    • Automate all routine DTS-internal financial reporting activities by end of year one
    • Bi-Weekly Portfolio Review with Owners for Major Programs
    • Portfolio Hygiene in terms of Serena Processes and Divisional Updates
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Cloud (AWS Certification an advantage)
    • Platform (Infrastructure Knowledge)
    • Portfolio Management / Senior Project/Program Management Experience
    • Roadmap and Strategy Creation for Portfolio Owners
    • Procurement Process Knowledge (incl CFAR)
    • Financial Management and modeling
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong understanding on complex technical environments of large organizations with keen on seeking new technologies to innovate and drive excellence.
    • Well-rounded expertise in Enterprise & Flexible Cloud Computing technologies, i.e., strategy, architecture, design, infrastructure, development, deployment, optimization, modernization etc.
    • Expertise in aligning IT strategy with business objectives, reduce costs, optimize by assessing current company processes, information systems and workflows.
    • Knowledge of core systems - Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Networking, Directory Services, Security, Firewalls, IAM, Databases, Data Analytics, Containerization etc.
    • Able to express technical materials concisely and accurately at audience appropriate level and length. Articulate in the languages of business & technology leaders, as well as architects, developers and engineers.
    • Work closely with PM’s and cross functional technology teams to capture business objectives, functional/non-functional requirements, organizational practices and constraints.
    • Deals with various hardware and software vendors to negotiate tailor cut solutions for the environment and to deliver projects on time, keeping in mind the cost and benefit of the product.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • 12+ years of work experience in reputed FinTec organizations with 8+ years of related work experience, to include technology project and program management experience
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and build strong relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities and proactively drive changes
  • Ability to effectively analyze, prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong project management experience in related industry with demonstrated achievements in planning, directing, and implementing multiple and concurrent large scale complex projects
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience leading large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • AWS Certification
  • Agile/Scrum/SAFe Certification
