We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Executive to join our FMCG division at Pittie Group. As the Strategic Sourcing Raw Material - FMCG, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of Raw Materials and developing strategic partnerships with suppliers. This is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards. The position is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the strategic sourcing strategy for Raw Materials in the FMCG division
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms of agreements
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to optimize cost and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of Raw Materials
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments and external suppliers
- Analyze data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Stay updated on industry regulations and trends related to Raw Material sourcing
Qualifications and Skills
- More than 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or purchasing
- Proven track record in negotiating and managing contracts with Raw Material suppliers
- Deep understanding of the FMCG industry and market dynamics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
