An upcoming Venture Capital fund with a unique approach to identifying, supporting, and exiting startups. With a fund size of $25 million, we aim to make 40 strategic investments over the next 4-5 years. Our differentiation lies in our comprehensive support system for startups, ensuring their growth and success.
Role Overview:
As a Partner specializing in Investor Relations and Fundraising, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our fund. Working closely with the other Partner, who brings over 10 years of experience in early-stage investments, you will be responsible for attracting investors to join our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising: Lead efforts to secure capital from investors, meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
- Investor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors. Provide regular updates on fund performance and strategic direction.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the other Partner to align fundraising strategy with our unique investment approach. Contribute to overall fund strategy and decision-making.
- Networking: Actively engage with the startup ecosystem, industry events, and relevant forums to expand our network of potential investors and partners.
- Communication: Clearly articulate our fund's value proposition to potential investors, ensuring a deep understanding of our unique approach.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in fundraising for Venture Capital Funds or similar financial vehicles.
- Strong network within the investment community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem and the ability to convey our fund's differentiators effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to overall fund strategy.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Compensation and Benefits:
Equal compensation and rights as the other Partner.
