Responsibilities:
Oversee Transportation Operations:
- Coordinate and manage transportation activities, including route planning, vehicle maintenance, and driver scheduling.
- Optimize transportation processes to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Logistics Coordination:
- Work closely with logistics partners to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels.
Order Management:
- Supervise order processing and fulfillment to meet customer demands.
- Implement systems for tracking orders and resolving any issues that may arise.
Performance Analysis:
- Analyze operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational performance and cost-effectiveness.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Foster a positive work environment focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth operations.
