Role:

The Offering Portfolio Chief of Staff USI Senior Consultant plays an integral role in supporting the success of the practice by providing a variety of operational, project and administrative services to an internal team of five Chiefs of Staff (Offerings & Services Chief of Staff and four Offering Portfolio Chiefs of Staff). The successful candidate will thrive in a team environment, provide excellent customer service, have strong data management/reporting skills, possess a high degree of self-confidence and executive presence, exercise discretion and diplomacy in all interactions, have the ability to proactively anticipate and manage challenges, be a self-starter with strong abilities to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize appropriately, work efficiently and remain flexible to changes in schedule and work hours. The candidate must have superior technical skills, including the ability to learn and master a variety of internal custom business applications, strong data management skills, and advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills. Understanding of firm financial metrics a plus.

Specific Responsibilities:


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Offer operational support to the Offerings & Services CoS and the four Offering Portfolio CoS
  • Collect and compile information to prepare reports for executive leadership
  • Create and maintain tracking and reporting tools as necessary (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, and reports).
  • Create content (primarily via PowerPoint) for meetings, events, webcasts and executive presentations. Coordinate with design team as necessary for content visual enhancements
  • Assist teams with recurring projects utilizing internal technology to update/maintain client records (e.g., Mercury), prepare reports, and complete trend analysis
  • Responsible for project coordination, including project plan management
  • Work within a defined work stream to accomplish project tasks. Deliver exceptional project-based support and customer service; adapt methods and behaviors to effectively engage and accommodate client styles, preferences, and unique needs
  • Team with the Offerings & Services Senior Coordinator to:
  • Offer administrative support to the Offerings & Services leader, including, but not limited to Outlook calendar support
  • Monitor shared mailboxes for the project team on a daily basis to manage upcoming and ongoing activities. Content development and distribution of communications from shared mailboxes
  • Coordinate and plan meetings, events and webcasts by handling logistics including securing meeting space, collaborating with team on agenda and content (e.g. VC setup, catering, etc.). including taking notes and distributing action items post meeting
  • Provide Outlook calendar support, including creating, updating, and rescheduling meeting invitations; responsible for identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to help advance, implement, and achieve objectives and desired outcomes; use business and subject matter expertise to provide practical and relevant ideas and insights
  • Produce superior work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and expectations for quality. Effectively negotiate deadlines when necessary and communicate changes to manage expectations
  • Accurately and proactively assess requirements for each project/request. Communicate effectively with requestors and service providers at all times, addressing questions or issues promptly and professionally
  • Plan and coordinate time and working hours to accommodate client requests and schedules; demonstrate exceptional judgment to adjust and flex hours, and address requests with a sense of urgency
  • Build positive and productive relationships with internal teams
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Deloitte’s matrixed organization and brand standards in order to offer superior service and accurate guidance to customers
