.Net Project Manager

Job Description:

As a .NET Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects that are developed using the .NET technology stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, quality assurance, and stakeholders, to ensure that projects are completed successfully and meet business objectives. Your role will encompass both project management and technical understanding of .NET technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Initiation:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Lead and manage a team of developers, designers, and QA professionals.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and strengths.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

1. Technical Oversight:

• Possess a strong understanding of .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, and related frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance to the development team, assisting with architectural decisions and problem-solving.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and established development methodologies.

1. Project Execution and Monitoring:

• Monitor project progress and ensure that milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project scope changes and prioritize tasks to align with project goals.

1. Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Collaborate with QA team to define testing strategies and ensure the quality of deliverables.
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test results to validate project outcomes.

• Maintain open and effective communication channels among team members and stakeholders.
• Address any issues, conflicts, or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

• Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, design decisions, and technical specifications.
• Create project-related documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in .NET development and project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in .NET software development projects.
• Strong knowledge of .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile certifications) are a plus.
