Hybrid Working

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction
As a HP NonStop Infrastructure Engineer, he/she should have good experience in the infrastructure space focused on HP Nonstop Server components, Middleware products such as MQ, Connect Direct and FTP. He/She should have good exposure to HP Nonstop products like Multibatch, OVNM and Golden gate.
What will you be doing?
- Incident management
- Problem management
- Issue triage, investigation and coordination to closure
- Data & Configuration changes execution
- Collate data for Proactive Service Improvement Initiatives (does not include code changes)
- Consultancy requests
- Collate data for and help coordinate Capacity/Performance Management
- “On the ground interface” for business/change teams
- Ad hoc reporting where appropriate
- On call support and ad-hoc overtime where appropriate
- Maintain open and timely communication with relevant business, supplier and IT personnel

- Candidate must be a BE/B Tech graduate.
- Scheduling Toolset, preferably Multi batch & Event Timer
