This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, SEO, and Social Media within the exciting field of technology news journalism. As a member of our team, we offer a supportive environment, fostering learning and growth under the mentorship of our Senior Social Media Manager and the broader marketing team.
SEO Optimisation:
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to enhance our content's search visibility.
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to assist in creating and curating engaging content for our Social Media platforms.
- Monitor Social Media channels, respond to comments, and engage with our audience.
- Monthly Social Media analytics and reporting.
- Assist with general administrative duties as needed, including data entry and website content uploads.
- Provide support in coordinating marketing events and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Completed a degree in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest and understanding of SEO principles and Social Media trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic administrative tasks.
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Outgoing personality with a willingness to contribute new ideas.
- Short course certifications in SEO or Social Media will be advantageous.
