The role of an Research and Development Intern (Design Engineer) is to conduct Research and as per design requirements, plan and execute the design of mechanical devices, develop and test prototypes, and work closely with the manufacturing teams to ensure that design specifications are met.

The primary role and responsibilities of a Research and Development Intern (Design Engineer):
- Working on mechanical designing software: Solidworks, Catia, Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Execute and interpret research for product development
- 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting
- Working on design and analysis of the product.
- Work for continuous improvements in the design.
- Design data management
- Coordinating with production, quality, and purchase department during the manufacturing stage of the project.
Qualifications and Skills Required:- Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Knowledge of sheet metal and stamping.
- Problem-solving, innovative thinking, and reasoning skills.
- Keen knowledge about different materials along with their characteristics.
- Hands-on in mechanical design software ( modeling, assembly, and drafting).
- Excellent in Structural, Thermal, Modal analysis.
- Good understanding of GD&T.
- Excellent organizational & planning skills to meet agreed project deadlines.
